About
My name is Katie Rstom
I am a clinical mental health counselor and Rule 114 qualified neutral with a personal and professional commitment to helping individuals and families navigate conflict. Having been clean from substance use since June 15, 2012, my journey through recovery has profoundly shaped my approach to both mediation and therapy. I understand firsthand the complexities of addiction and healing, which allows me to approach conflict resolution with empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others. I specialize in family mediation, focusing on issues like custody concerns, safety planning, and parenting time, and use restorative circle methods to help parties find collaborative solutions. As a mental health therapist, I integrate my clinical knowledge and trauma-informed practices into my mediation work, ensuring that each individual feels heard, respected, and supported as they work towards resolution. My goal is always to foster understanding, promote healing, and guide people toward lasting agreements that bring peace and stability to their lives.
